BEATING BACK THE BLUES

Nanaimo, BC residents Patrick and Sharla Clermont paint as seven-months-old Ravah watches over dad's shoulder. the couple were painting the mural at the pediatric outpatient area of Royal University Hospital as part of a cross-Canada effort to brighten up waiting areas while featuring letters of the alphabet.
The RUH mural features the letter B. It was while attending to their sick daughter in British Columbia children's Hospital in Vancouver that the couple first came up with the idea of brightening the atmosphere of hospitals for the children forced to go there for treatment.
