Scott has many years of service for Tom Lee Music both in Vancouver and Vancouver Island. He is considered a highly skilled Technician by his peers and Piano Consultants.

When big shows like Billy Joel, Paul Anka, Tony Bennett and the like come to the Red Robinson Show Theater, they entrust Mr. Friesen to tune the pianos of the stars. And when Stevie Wonder came to G.M. Place in 2008, who tuned his piano? You guessed it Scott Friesen was called upon again.

Scott was also the official tuner for Place des Arts in Coquitlam between 2002-2009.

Growing up in a musical family, Scott Friesen has always had music in his blood. He turned professional piano tuner in 1980, and has had the pleasure of tuning pianos for some famous musicians.

Scott has had the privilege of taking training at Steinway in New York city. This included tuning, regulation, and voicing. Scott has worked with all kinds of piano makes and models, whether they be grands or uprights. He is also willing to work on older pianos that may require some repairs before a tuning can be done. He also spent 9 years working with Tom Lee music in Vancouver, BC, as a piano technician, although on his own, he continues to freelance with Tom Lee to this day.
